What is an ion-exchange membrane?

Ion-exchange membrane SELEMIONTM

SELEMIONTM is a hydrocarbon-based ion-exchange membrane developed and manufactured by AGC Engineering. Since we pioneered in developing ion-exchange membranes in 1950, we have been working to develop new membranes to expand both our product lineup and the potential of ion exchange membrane technology. SELEMION™ is an organic polymer materials molded into a sheet. Both cation-exchange membranes and anion-exchange membranes are available.
